I Am Henry wins ‘2’ Filmmaker Awards

Flying Dutchman Films is pleased to announce that ‘I AM HENRY’ won in two of the four categories nominated at the Festival of World Cinema, London 2016 awards ceremony, on the 26th February, at the Grand Plaza Hotel. The Festival is one of several organised in Europe by Film Fest International. The short was nominated for Best Director of a Short Film and Best Editing of a Short Film, and won for Best Costume Design (Kristen Ernst- Brown) and Best Hair and Make-up (Chanel Murray). Chosen from hundreds of entrants, this is a wonderful achievement for Jan, Kristen, Chanel, and the talented cast and crew involved in this unique production.

On winning her first award for Best Costume, Kristen Ernst-Brown (bottom right) said: “It was an honour winning Best Costume.” Kristen is currently working on the Harry Potter prequel ‘Fantastic Beasts,’ starring Eddie Redmayne. This was also Chanel Murray’s first award for Hair & Make-Up and she was equally excited to win recognition for her talent. She said: “It has been an absolute privilege to work with such remarkable people.” Chanel is currently working on the stage production of ‘Chicago’ in London’s West End.
